On October 5, 2019 the 14th edition of the Indo – Mongolian joint military training exercise Nomadic Elephant-XIV for the year 2019, has begun at Bakloh in Himachal Pradesh. This 14-day exercise will continue till October 18, 2019. The aim of the exercise is to train both the armies in counter terrorism and counter insurgency (counter revolt) operations thus enhancing defence cooperation.

Harmanpreet Kaur became the first Indian cricketer to appear in 100 T20I in her final match of the series against South Africa in Surat. Tamil Nadu emerged as the top state where the most cancer patients availed treatment under PMJAY with 40,056 cases. The first e-waste clinic of India will be set up in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) have tied up to set up the clinic. It will be formed in compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.The electronic waste will be collected door-to-door or can be deposited directly at the clinic in exchange for a fee.

On October 4, 2019, India’s 1st plant to produce diesel from plastic waste in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh has been soft-launched by Mathura MP (Member of Parliament) Hema Malini with the aim to fulfill Prime Minister(PM) Narendra Modi’s dream of a Swachh Bharat Mission.The plant, working on a full scale at the Mathura Municipal Corporation (MMC), built on a public-private partnership (P-P-P) model for which the MMC has signed a contract of Rs 9.5 crore with Paterson Energy Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

33rd edition of the India Economic Summit in New Delhi organized by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) from 03-04 October 2019. On October 7, 2019 the 10th edition of the joint exercise between India and Maldives named Ekuverin for the year 2019 begun at Aundh Military Station in Pune, Maharashtra. This 14 day joint exercise between Indian Army(IA) and Maldives National Defence Forces (MNDF) will be conducted till October 20, 2019.

On October 7, 2019 the Indian Army’s first and biggest mountain combat exercise “Him Vijay” for the year 2019 begun at Arunachal Pradesh. It is an important exercise for validating the operational concepts of the newly raised Integrated Battle Groups (IBGs) to meet the requirements of modern warfare. The exercise has two phases, where the first phase will be conducted from October 7-10, 2019 and the second phase will be conducted from October 20-24, 2019. It is also the first-ever drill that military is hosting in northeastern states.

Alamelu to review the product structure of title insurance, which covers any loss caused due to a defect in the ‘title’ of the property arising out of third-party challenges. Avinash Sable in men’s 3000m steeplechase event finished in 8 minute 21.37 seconds and bettered his own national record of 8:25.23. He also qualified for Tokyo Olympics in men’s 3000m steeplechase event by finishing it in 8 minute 21.37 seconds. Olympics qualifying standard was 8:22.00. Annu Rani became the first Indian to reach the finals of the women’s javelin throw event in the World Championships in Doha. She threw the javelin 62.43m in her second attempt and emerged as the fifth-best performer of the qualification round breaking her previous record of 62.34m. But she missed out the qualification for 2020 olympics.
