The fusion of male and female gametes takes place during sexual reproduction. Fusion results to formation of zygote that is first cell of any living organism.

In asexual reproduction only one parent is involved. The new organism is identical to parent. No gametes formation takes place in asexual reproduction.

Human male germ cell is called sperm. Sperm is produced inside the testes. Sperm contain head and long tail that help them to swim.

In human female, at puberty one mature egg is released from ovary every month. Ovulation takes place in the middle of menstrual cycle.

External fertilization is the fertilization where the fertilization takes place outside the body while the internal fertilization is the process where the sperms fertilize the eggs inside the body. Fish undergoes external fertilization. The female releases unfertilized eggs into the water which is fertilized by the sperms of the male. In order to increase the chance of fertilization, the fishes release an enormous amount of eggs in the water.

The process of transfer of larva into adults through drastic change in their body is called metamorphosis. Larva changes into totally different shape and size through metamorphosis.

The age between 13 years to 19 years is called teenage. During this age, a number of physiological and morphological changes take place in the children.

The process of fusion of male and female gamete is called fertilization. Fertilization may be internal or external depending upon organism.

Budding is a mode of asexual reproduction in which a small outgrowth develop on body surface that enlarge and get separated from parent body. Budding takes place in hydra and yeast.

Mitosis is the mode of cell division in which one cell divide into two cells. The number of chromosome remains same after mitosis division.
