The Group of Seven (G7) is an informal bloc of seven industrialized democracies viz. Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These countries meet annually to discuss issues such as global economic governance, international security, and energy policy. The main aim of the group is to improve the economies of member countries and the whole world.

Formed in 1975, it consisted of France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom. Later, Canada was invited to join the group in 1976 thus making it a group of seven countries. These countries meet annually to discuss issues such as global economic governance, international security, and energy policy.

INTERPOL is the world’s largest international police organization, with 192 member countries. Their role is to enable police around the world to work together to make the world a safer place. Their aim is to facilitate international police cooperation even where diplomatic relations do not exist between particular countries. The action is taken within the limits of existing laws in different countries and in the spirit of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The Nineth World Trade Organisation  Ministerial Conference was held in Bali, Indonesia from 3 to 7 December 2013.The conference was chaired by the Indonesian  Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan.

Dr Harsh Vardhan, the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, has launched people-oriented campaign "Green Good Deeds" to sensitize the people and students, in particular, about climate change and global warming. Referring to the crucial role played by "Polio Sainiks" for Pulse Polio campaign, Dr Vardhan has underlined the need for "Green Sainiks" to broad-base the Green Good Deeds movement and to take it down to the grassroots level successfully. The Environment ministry has also appealed to the teaching community to join the campaign to make people aware about the cause of the campaign.
