A man buys erasers at 10 for Rs. 3 and sells at 6 for Rs. 3. What is his gain percent?
Find the gain percentage:
Gain Percentage = gain/cost price x 100
Gain Percentage = 0.075/0.3 x 100 = 25%
Naresh saves Rs. 300. His brother, Suresh, saves Rs. 220. How much money must Naresh give his brother so that both of them will have the same amount of money?
To have same amount of money we will add the money both brothers have and divide by 2.
Total = 220 + 300 = 520
520/2 = 260 Rs
This means both brothers should have 260 Rs.
Therefore, 260  220 = 40 rs should be given
