NTA JEE MAINS 2020
The National Testing Agency(NTA) has released the application form for the JEE Main 2020 April Session on 7th February. Candidates can now apply in the online mode till 6th March. However the last date for the payment of the application form is 7th March. Interested candidates can fill their application forms for JEE MainsPaper-1 ((BE/BTech), Paper-2 (BArch) and Paper-3 (BPlanning).
The Exam is conducted twice a year i.e. January and April. Candidates can appear for one or for both attempts depending on your convenience. Those Candidates who have already appeared in JEE (Main) January-2020 Examination can appear in JEE (Main) April2020 Examination for improvement, if they so wish. The candidates who could not appear in the January JEE (Main) 2020 Examination, may also appear in JEE(Main) April-2020 Examination. The candidate’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/Ranking. Candidates who’ll qualify the JEE Mains exam 2020 cutoff are eligible for JEE advanced 2020.

The JEE Main eligibility criteria mentions all the terms and conditions that candidates should satisfy. Hence, to avoid the rejection in later stages, you should go through and understand the eligibility criteria before registering for the exam. We have given some of the points below:
Qualifying exam for JEE mains: candidate should have cleared Class XII Board exam/Intermediate Or equivalent examination as listed by NTA.
Age limit: There is no age limit for the candidate to appear in JEE Mains. But that student must note that IIT may set an age limit for admission.
Qualifying year of 10 2 level exam: Candidate passed QE in the year 2018, 2019 or appearing in 2020 and will be appearing in 2020 is eligible for JEE Mains 2020.
Subjects: Candidates should have studiedPhysics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their 10 2 qualification exam.
Number of attempts: Candidates can appear fo rJEE Mains for three consecutive years irrespective of the session attempts, two attempts in a year will be considered as one.

JEE Main exam pattern 2020 has been released on 3rd Sep, 2019. The exam will now be conducted for three papers separately (i.e BE/BTech, BArch and Bplan). JEE Main 2020 for BE/BTech courses will be held online(computer based mode) for 300markswhile the BArch will be conducted partly online ( mathematics and aptitude test) and partly offline (drawing test) for 400 marks. BPlan will be conducted separately carrying 100 MCQs for 400 marks.

JEE Mains Application forms for the April session are available online from today i.e. 7th Feb onwards. Candidates will be able to fill and submit their application form till 6th March, 2019. The image correction window is open for all the candidates.
Register for JEE Main 2020- In this following step, candidates have to register via online mode with the basic details of the candidates.
Fill the online application form- Next, candidates have to fill information related to their personal, education, communication, parents/guardian details and about exam cite and paper preferences.
Uploading scanned images/documents- At this step, candidates have to upload photographs and signatures with the given specifications.
Pay JEE Main Application fee- after uploading the documents, candidates have to pay application fees of JEE Mains 2020 in online mode.
Printout of the confirmation page- After successfully paying the application fee, candidates have to take a printout of the application form and keep it safely for further references.

Steps to download JEE Main 2020 Admit Card:
Enter JEE Main Application Number, date of birth and security pin in the admit card window
Click on the “Submit” button.
Check the admit card on your computer screen.
Ensure all the details are correct before taking a print out.
JEE Main Exam Centers:
The examination will be conducted in major cities and towns across India as well as abroad.
Candidates must select one city while registering for the exam.
In case the candidate opts for Paper 1 in the city where JEE Main 2020 is conducted but also wants to appear in Paper 2, select four other centre cities.
However, if the number of candidates for online mode is less than 50 in a city on a particular date then all such candidates will be allotted the last day of the online mode exam in the same city.
JEE Main 2020 result for paper 2 and 3 has been released by the national testing Agency(NTA) on 23rd Jan. Earlier, the result for Paper 1result of JEE Main 2020 was declared on 17th Jan. to view JEE Main 2020 result and percentile score, candidates must enter their Application number and password/date of birth. NTA is not gonna send JEE Main 2020 scorecard through mail or post to aspirants who appeared for the exam.
JEE Main 2020 Result for April session will be announced by NTA on 30th April. The NTA score for JEE Main 2020 Paper-1, 2 and 3 for both the session(Jan and Apr) will be merged to compile the exam result and prepare the overall JEE Main 2020 merit list. The best of the two NTA scores will be considered for further processing for candidates who have appeared for the sessions.
JEE Main cut off is the minimum score required for qualifying the examination. Candidates who score above the JEE Main cut off percentile become eligible to participate in the admission process. The cut off of JEE Main varies for candidates belonging to reserved and unreserved categories.

A. NTA has released the application form of JEE Main 2020 for April session for Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2 (BArch) and Paper 3 (BPlan) on February 7.
Q. When will the NTA conduct the JEE Main 2020 April exam?
A. JEE Main 2020 April exam is scheduled to be held on April 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11.
Q. What should i do if, While paying the application fee my transaction failed but money was deducted?
A. If something like this happens then the candidate must pay the application fees again. The money would be refunded in the account within 7 to 10 days if in case the balance is deducted due to network or technical problems.
Q. Can I edit the test centre after the submission of the application form of JEE Main 2020?
A. No. You will not be allowed to edit your test centre and examination mode after the submission of the JEE Main application form.
Q. For how many times a student can appear for JEE Main in one year?
A. JEE Main 2020 is conducted twice a year. The number of attempts for admission in a particular academic session is considered as one. The age eligibility as prescribed by the authority allows a candidate to appear in JEE Main for three consecutive years.
Q. Is it mandatory to appear for the exam twice or can I take just one of the attempts ?
A. No. There is no mandate to appear for both the exams. It depends on your choice. In case you appear for the exam, the better of the two scores will be used to rank in the merit list.
Q. Are there any changes done in the syllabus of JEE Main 2020?
A. No, there are no changes in the syllabus of JEE Main 2020 paper 1 and 2. However, the authority has released a seperate section for BPlan(Paper-3) of JEE Mains.
