Study of consumer behavior for a product of your choice?

Aakash Pandey answered  •  Aug 31, 2019
Understanding consumer behavior is important for any organization before launching a product. If the organization fails to analyze how a customer will respond to a particular product, the company may face losses. Consumer behavior is very complex because each consumer has a different mindset and attitude towards purchase, consumption and the disposal of the product. Consumer behavior helps to market the product or services successfully. Moreover, studying consumer behavior helps in many aspects of the business. As there is continuous change in the living standards, trends, fashion and change in technology; consumer's attitude towards the purchase of product varies. Understanding these factors is very important because the marketing of the product is largely dependent on these factors. Thus, consumer behavior serves as an important tool for marketers in meeting their sales objectives.

What is markating?

Neeraj Chauhan answered  •  Jun 27, 2019
Marketing vs. Marketing Concepts
Marketing is the promotion of business products or services to a target audience. It is, in short, an action taken to bring attention to a business' offerings; they can be physical goods for sale or services offered. Common examples of marketing at work include television commercials, billboards on the side of the road, and magazine advertisements. But not all businesses approach the need to market their goods and services the same way. In fact, there are a few different approaches to how marketing can be successful for an organization. These approaches are called marketing concepts, or a philosophy that determines what type of marketing tools are used by a company. Marketing concepts are driven by a clear objective that takes into account cost efficiency, social responsibilities, and effectiveness within a particular market.

explain some harmful effects of agriculture practice on the enviornment

Rakshit Dayma answered  •  Jun 24, 2019
Some of the harmful effects of agricultural practices on the environment are as follows:

Climate Change: As farming means growing a selected number of species on a large tract of land, it promotes monoculture. Thus farming affects the biodiversity of a region in a negative way.

Deforestation: Clearing of forests for agriculture has resulted in loss of habitat to wildlife. Deforestation has also affected the natural recharge process of groundwater.

Soil degradation: Intensive farming robs off the soil of its nutrients. In the long run, it can lead to soil erosion and finally to desertification.

Water shortage: Over exploitation of groundwater for irrigation has resulted in acute water shortage at many places.

Pollution: Use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides creates soil pollution, water pollution and air pollution

what is time travel .?

Shivam Mehra answered  •  May 15, 2019
Time travel is the concept of movement between certain points in time, analogous to movement between different points in space by an object or a person, typically using a hypothetical device known as a time machine. Time travel is a widely-recognized concept in philosophy and fiction. The idea of a time machine was popularized by H. G. Wells' 1895 novel The Time Machine.

It is uncertain if time travel to the past is physically possible. Forward time travel, outside the usual sense of the perception of time, is an extensively-observed phenomenon and well-understood within the framework of special relativity and general relativity. However, making one body advance or delay more than a few milliseconds compared to another body is not feasible with current technology. As for backwards time travel, it is possible to find solutions in general relativity that allow for it, but the solutions require conditions that may not be physically possible. Traveling to an arbitrary point in spacetime has a very limited support in theoretical physics, and usually only connected with quantum mechanics or wormholes, also known as Einstein-Rosen bridges.

What is reciprocal buying?

Nitin Mishra answered  •  Oct 23, 2018
Reciprocal Buying.
One type of negotiation which deserves special mention is reciprocal buying. Reciprocal buying is simply the practice of giving preference to suppliers who are also customers. Since it is rare that a customer can also be a supplier, reciprocal buying is not a widespread practice.

Obviously in those situations where it is possible, it can be good business to buy from companies that are also customers if all factors of service, quality and price are equal, since this practice strengthens the relationship and turns a customer into an even better one.

Unfortunately, reciprocity is not used only when quality price and service are equal. If either party is less than a highly desirable supplier, problems can develop.

Furthermore, although reciprocity is not against the law by itself, it could develop into conspiracy and commercial bribery, which are illegal. In the case of large corporations, it may be a violation of the anti-trust laws.

Reciprocity, for all these reasons, should be approached with caution. If you are in a situation where it can be important, it would be wise not to use your customer as a sole source of supply for the product or service involved. See related link for further details

While stock exchanges are often associated with wealth creation and capitalism, they are much more than a place for brokers to buy and sell shares of companies. Stock exchanges allows businesses access to capital and the opportunity to enhance their visibility and public image. Savvy businesses can harness the power of stock exchanges to grow and enhance their companies. While significant financial and regulatory costs are associated with being listed on a stock exchange, the benefits far outnumber the disadvantages.

Marketing function is a role which helps a company to identify and source potentially successful products for the marketplace they operate on and then promote them by differentiating them from similar products. It is a vital part of any company.

Mayank Sharma answered  •  Oct 09, 2018
Segmentation means to divide the marketplace into parts, or segments, which are definable, accessible, actionable, and profitable and have a growth potential. In other words, a company would find it impossible to target the entire market, because of time, cost and effort restrictions. It needs to have a 'definable' segment - a mass of people who can be identified and targeted with reasonable effort, cost and time.

Once such a mass is identified, it has to be checked that this mass can actually be targeted with the resources at hand, or the segment should be accessible to the company. Beyond this, will the segment respond to marketing actions by the company (ads, prices, schemes, promos) or, is it actionable by the company? After this check, even though the product and the target are clear, is it profitable to sell to them? Is the number and value of the segment going to grow, such that the product also grows in sales and profits?
