Some of the harmful effects of agricultural practices on the environment are as follows:

Climate Change: As farming means growing a selected number of species on a large tract of land, it promotes monoculture. Thus farming affects the biodiversity of a region in a negative way.

Deforestation: Clearing of forests for agriculture has resulted in loss of habitat to wildlife. Deforestation has also affected the natural recharge process of groundwater.

Soil degradation: Intensive farming robs off the soil of its nutrients. In the long run, it can lead to soil erosion and finally to desertification.

Water shortage: Over exploitation of groundwater for irrigation has resulted in acute water shortage at many places.

Time travel is the concept of movement between certain points in time, analogous to movement between different points in space by an object or a person, typically using a hypothetical device known as a time machine. Time travel is a widely-recognized concept in philosophy and fiction. The idea of a time machine was popularized by H. G. Wells' 1895 novel The Time Machine.

It is uncertain if time travel to the past is physically possible. Forward time travel, outside the usual sense of the perception of time, is an extensively-observed phenomenon and well-understood within the framework of special relativity and general relativity. Reciprocal Buying.
One type of negotiation which deserves special mention is reciprocal buying. Reciprocal buying is simply the practice of giving preference to suppliers who are also customers. Since it is rare that a customer can also be a supplier, reciprocal buying is not a widespread practice.

Obviously in those situations where it is possible, it can be good business to buy from companies that are also customers if all factors of service, quality and price are equal, since this practice strengthens the relationship and turns a customer into an even better one.

Unfortunately, reciprocity is not used only when quality price and service are equal. If either party is less than a highly desirable supplier, problems can develop.

Furthermore, although reciprocity is not against the law by itself, it could develop into conspiracy and commercial bribery, which are illegal. In the case of large corporations, it may be a violation of the anti-trust laws.

Reciprocity, for all these reasons, should be approached with caution. If you are in a situation where it can be important, it would be wise not to use your customer as a sole source of supply for the product or service involved. See related link for further details

Segmentation means to divide the marketplace into parts, or segments, which are definable, accessible, actionable, and profitable and have a growth potential. In other words, a company would find it impossible to target the entire market, because of time, cost and effort restrictions. It needs to have a 'definable' segment - a mass of people who can be identified and targeted with reasonable effort, cost and time.

Once such a mass is identified, it has to be checked that this mass can actually be targeted with the resources at hand, or the segment should be accessible to the company. Beyond this, will the segment respond to marketing actions by the company (ads, prices, schemes, promos) or, is it actionable by the company? After this check, even though the product and the target are clear, is it profitable to sell to them? Is the number and value of the segment going to grow, such that the product also grows in sales and profits?
