To save themselves from pangs of hunger
Thus they lived on my bark and fruits
My shades saved them from scorching sun
They burnt my wood to ward off cold
None gave them such comfort and fun
If you keep losing your love for me
Floods and storms shall rage wild
Blotting out all progress made by thee
