The force responsible for pulling objects
towards the Earth's center is known as
gravitational force or gravity. Gravity is
the force that causes objects to descend
to the ground. For instance, when an
apple drops from a tree, it descends
towards the ground. Similarly, if you
throw a ball into the sky, it will also fall
back to the ground after reaching a
certain height.
