A boy goes to school with a speed of 3 km/hr and returns to the villag...
Let the distance between school and college be x km.
while going to school , speed= 3km/hr.
=> 3km = 1hrs
x km = x/3hrs
and while returning to village , speed = 2km/hr
=> 2km = 1hrs
x km = x/2 hrs
Total time taken = 5hrs
x/3 + x/2 = 5
5x/6 = 5
x = 6km
