instantaneous power = F.v
when projected
= W * v * cos(90+beta)
= W * v * sinbeta
and average will be zero for the total motion as the velocity at the time of projection is equal to the velocity at the end of projection and thus KE is also same.
This implies that no net work is done on the object and, hence the power delivered must also be zero.
