WILL is used when somebody talks about future standing at present tense
WOULD is used when somebody talks about future standing in a past condition
That means analysts recently predicted is in present condition,so what ever they predict will be about future from now.
Also sentence says “as bla bla has followed throughout 20th century”.that means this part is the evidence for analyst’s claim,but we know analysts are in present condition as i explained.so this “as bla bla..” part will be a past condition.
So has/had/follows are wrong.
