A room has floor size of 15*6sq cm. What is the height of the room , i...
Given: Floor size of the room = 15*6 sq cm

Let the height of the room be h cm.

Calculation:

Area of the base = 15*6 = 90 sq cm

Area of the roof = 15*6 = 90 sq cm

Sum of the areas of the base and roof = 90 + 90 = 180 sq cm

Area of each wall = 15*h sq cm

Total area of the four walls = 4*(15*h) = 60h sq cm

According to the question, the sum of the areas of the base and roof is equal to the sum of the areas of the four walls.

∴ 180 = 60h

∴ h = 180/60 = 3

Therefore, the height of the room is 3 cm.

Hence, the correct option is (c) 4.29 cm.
