They're small granular materials that is why they lack membrane

Rooplata Singh answered May 07, 2020
Yes because it is a single celled organism and if it's cell would have membrane it would not be possible for it to take in nitrogen and to convert it into a consumable nitrogen because nitrogen can't pass through membrane

Rishika Rai answered Mar 18, 2020
Ribosomes lack membranes as they help in protein synthesis . As proteins are needed by all the different parts of the cell , they move freely across the cell

Ribosomes lack the unit membrane . They are present individually in the cell cytoplasm and make the lining of the rough endoplasmic reticulum. Nucleolus lacks a unit membrane. They have genetic materials in the nucleus which consists of RAN, DNA, proteins etc.

Radhika Radhika answered Apr 26, 2020
The correct option is A that is Ribosome

Gunjan Singh answered Jul 11, 2020
Ribosome do not have membrane so it is able to pick up the translational RNA released from nucleus to form proteins

Nisaram Bost answered Apr 23, 2020
Ribosomes are commonly known as the protein factories of cells and they lack membraneous covering. The ribosomes consist of two subunits; larger subunit and smaller subunit. These subunits join together only at the time of protein synthesis and are composed of ribonucleo proteins(RNP's). Since, ribosomes represent temporary association of two subunits at the time of translation(protein synthesis), they lack membraneous covering.

Ribosome is small granules produce through nucleolus and it is attached to the RER that's why it is not having membrane.

Divleen Kaur Gurtej Sing answered 3 weeks ago
A) Ribosomes are the organelles which lack membrane.

This is evident from the fact that ribosomes are the only organelle which is present in prokaryotes and prokaryotes only have membrane less organelles.

Ribosomes exist as free structures that float throughout the cytoplasm of the cell. They do not have membranes, which allows them to pick up translational RNA released from the nucleus and grab onto free amino acids in order to produce protein chains.

Hope that you have found a correct explanation for that!

In cells, thesestructures are referred to as organelles. ... Non-membrane boundorganelles are more solid structures that are not fluid-filled, so they have no need for amembrane. Examples of non-membrane bound organelles are ribosomes, the cell wall, and the cytoskeleton.

Ribosomes are bundles of genetic material and protein that are the centers of protein production in the cell.

Sakshi answered 5 days ago
Ribosomes are the translational apparatus of the cell with two major components the small ribosomal subunit which reads the RNA, and the large subunit which joins amino acids to form a polypeptide chain. Each subunit is composed of one or more rRNA molecules and a variety of proteins. It is devoid of any membrane.

Look , suppose we're not sure then we can go through process of elimination about option a) i.e. Ribosome we're not sure , option b) Lysosomes is membrane bound organelle meaning as they have 1 membrane so we can eliminate this option , option c) Golgi bodies do have 1 membrane again we can eliminate this one too , finally option d) Nucleus , as we know nucleus has 2 membrane one separating from the cytoplasm (the outer one) and one separating nucleolus from the outer nucleus (the one inside) so we should eliminate this one too , so it's apparent that answer is option a) Ribosome.

Samriddhi Pandey answered Jul 23, 2020
In this Ribosome is the only organelle that lack membrane .
As
Lysosome is an organelle without membrane .
And Golgi body and nucleus are double membrane organelles.
So the correct answer is (a) Ribosome.
