In this rxn  potassium iodide (KI) and lead nitrite[Pb(No3)2] dissociate in their respective ions and lead combine to iodide ion  and form lead iodide (PbI2) as precipitate   so for that we need pb2+ ion which can be taken either form option A or option B but it is given that lead sulphate is insoluble so it will not form pb+2 ion so we have only one option which give us Pb+2  ion and that is option B 
so ,option B is correct
