Yes it's gaseous because 100•is the boling point of water and as u all know that after boiling the water it starts converting into vapour (gas.) that means water in its physical state is gaseous
Yes water is in the form of gas at 100 degree Celsius. BCoz it is it's boiling point. at reaching 100 degree water starts to boil and converted into vapours ( gaseous form)
In many books it is given that water at 100' Celsius is in its gaseous form becoz water starts boiling & slowly slowly gets converted to vapour form... bt actually water at 100' C is in both liquid & vapour form.
According to me and my experiment done on my home the correct answer is gas as well as liquid but for exam and according to books right answer is gaseous state.
Physical state of water at 250deg C is gaseous state because the boiling point of water is 100degC. Therefore at a temperature higher than its boiling point. It exists as gas. (b): At 100degC both liquid and gaseous states are present. These are in a state of equilibrium.
