Eight is the correct answer . Because some planets in our solar system are tiny small and because of this we cannot see them so they are called draft planets and Pluto is one of them there are more planet that are called draft planets like Pluto.
If you have problem in learning planets in order I have a shortcut.
My Very Efficient Mother Just Served Us Nuts .
My means Mercury .
Very means Venus .
Efficient means Earth .
Mother means Mars .
Just means Jupiter .
Served means Saturn .
Us means Uranus .
Nuts means Neptune .

There were first 9 planets in the Solar system. But , according to scientists, because of the very small size of Pluto it is no longer considered as a planet. Therefore, there are only 8 planets in the Solar system now; mainly, Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars , Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus, and Neptune.

Sandeep Kumar answered Apr 22, 2020
Actually there are nine planets in our solar system.
But Pluto is not counted because now it is called dwarf planet due to its small size.
So there are 8 planets in our solar system
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto but now it is not considered.
Hope you satisfied with my answer this is the reason.
All the best.
