Purchases is a nominal account ...it's not a real account and see if it's a real account then it's balance would be shown in the balance sheet carried to the next year... but asa ni hota haii.. while if we talk about the outstanding rent then it means the due rent hasn't been received..so it will be an asset for the firm to receive in the future...and that's y it will also be shown in the balance sheet on the asset side to carried forward in the next year... Thus,option 'd' will be correct not the option 'c'

Cash account is a real account. Real accounts show up on a company's balance sheet, which is the financial statement that lists all the accounts that a company has and their balances.
