E=-2.18*10^-18(Z/n)^2
So energy is -Rh/9=-2.18*10^-18/9
z=1 for H
solving we get n=3
degenerate orbital means orbital having same energy.
Now subshell in shell 3 are 3s 3p 3d.
so total orbital is:
s=1
p=3
d=5
total=9
