Juxtaglomerulus
The juxtaglomerular cells are cells in the kidney that synthesize , store and secrete thr enzyme renin. They are specialized smooth muscle cells mainly in the walls of afferent arterioles and some in the effetent arterioles that deliever blood to the glomerulus

Vishal Kumar answered Mar 21, 2020
Renin is produced by juxtaglomerular cells. These cells are similar to epithelium and are located in the tunica media of the afferent arterioles as they enter the glomeruli.
