Bts My Life answered Apr 01, 2020
Each chromosome arranged at the metaphase is split simultaneously and the two daughter nuclei, begin their migration towards the two opposite poles. As each chromosome moves away from the equatorial plate , the centromere of each chromosome is towards the pole and hence at leading edge , with the arms of the chromosome trailing behind.
Anaphase stage is characterise by:
Centromeres split and chromatids separate.
Chromatids moves towards the opposite poles.

How many mitotic division a single cell needed to produce 128 daughter cells

Mansi Mapari answered Mar 16, 2019
Yes , the correct option is B
Because during metaphase the chromosome align on equator
Then in Anaphase the centromere spilts due to spindle fibres and they move towards the pole.
In this way , chromosomes are equally distributed.

Anaphase is the stage of mitosis when replicated chromosomes are split and the daughter chromatids are moved to opposite poles of the cell.

Sonal Mestry answered Apr 13, 2020
At the anaphase, chromosomes split n the migrate towards the opposite poles of cell with the help of centromeres

Chanchal Sharma answered Mar 20, 2019
In the anaphase of mitotic division.
splitting of centromere take place , which leads the equal distribution of chromosomes towards the pole of cell ..

Siddhi Lunkad answered Feb 02, 2020
It's b) because in anaphase the chromosome splitsinto the daughter chromosomehence splitting of centromere) and move towards the two opposite pole while the centromere of each remains directed towards the the pole
