Ans:  One day I saw a boy hiding behind a wall next to the staircase at school. His name was Alex, a quiet and reserved student who always kept to himself. I approached him cautiously, wondering what he was up to.
"Hey, Alex, what are you doing here?" I asked, trying to sound casual.
Startled, Alex jumped and turned to face me. His eyes widened with a mixture of surprise and fear. "Oh, uh, hi," he stammered, attempting to hide something behind his back.
Curiosity piqued, I stepped closer. "What have you got there?" I inquired, gesturing towards his concealed hand.
Alex hesitated before reluctantly revealing a small, trembling kitten nestled in his palm. "I found her abandoned near the dumpster," he confessed softly. "I was trying to figure out what to do."
Moved by his compassion, I smiled reassuringly. "Let's take her to the school nurse. She'll know what to do."
Together, we hurried to the nurse's office, where she promptly examined the kitten and provided the necessary care. As we watched the tiny creature being comforted, Alex's eyes sparkled with newfound warmth.
"Thank you for helping me," he said, gratitude evident in his voice.
"No problem," I replied, returning his smile. "Sometimes all it takes is a little kindness to make a big difference."
From that day on, Alex and I became good friends, bonded by our shared act of compassion. And as for the kitten, she found a loving home with the school janitor, who had been searching for a furry companion.
As the days passed, our school became a place of friendship, kindness, and empathy, all sparked by a chance encounter behind a wall next to the staircase.
