hello we are talking today about how to
build a computer network system a
computer network system is in its most
simple form very very basic you
typically only really need three
components one would be a essential
device which would be what everything
would communicate through now depending
on the sophistication of the network you
could use either a hub a switch or a
router in the instance of using a hub
and a switch you would then have to
allocate DNS and DHCP to a third device
as otherwise known as a server typically
otherwise if you were to use a router
like this for instance then you would be
able to issue DHCP and DNS requests
through the router thus removing the
need to have a DNS DHCP server and if
you're using a hub switch obviously you
would need to have a server now with a
server the most I guess essential pieces
to a server that you see out there is
you'll have a file server a print server
a email server and then in the instance
of networking where you're using a hub
or switch a DNS and DHCP router and what
that means is is basically the router or
the server depending on the
configuration would issue DHCP IP
addresses to your client machines and
then resolve DNS queries on them on
behalf of your network and then the
final piece which all end-users would be
concerned with would be the PC and that
would be where you would issue prayer
requests or or tribe traverse the
network to get to the server for files
or or to download your email things like
that so those are the three basic
components to a computer network and if
you were to build them the easiest way
would probably be to just use a router
and a couple of PC's
