The Central Board of Secondary Education is responsible for administering the Class 10 board exams in all schools that are affiliated with them. It is crucial for students who will be taking the upcoming Class 10 board exam to be familiar with the exam pattern. CBSE adjusts the Class 10 Exam Pattern to align with the most recent syllabus and to meet the needs of students. Last year the exam was conducted in two terms and this year it will be conducted once in Feb-March 2023. So it is important for students to understand the new Class 10 Exam Pattern.
According to the board, a student in order to qualify for the CBSE Class 10 board examination must score a minimum of 33%. It is imperative for the students to clear the internal assessment, practicals, and theory exams individually
The best way to prepare for a Class 10 is to solve previous year's papers and sample papers to get an idea of the types and levels of questions that will come in the exam. Practise under exam conditions by setting the time and focus on improving your answer writing skills. Make a note of difficult topics and questions and create a mistake notebook to keep track of mistakes.
The Class 10 CBSE exams will consist of objective type questions which will have mcqs and assertion-reasoning type questions, very short answer type questions, short answer type questions, long answer type questions and source based/case based questions.
