How to calculate volume

  • The volume of an object is calculated by multiplying its height, width, and length i.e. Height × width × length= volume
  • If the measurements are in centimeters, the volume will be in cubic centimeters (cm3).
  • If the measurements are in meters, the volume will be in cubic meters (m3).

Example

The formula for calculating volume is: volume = length x width x height
So what is the volume of this cuboid?
