Time

Time is when things happen, and we measure it using hours, minutes, and seconds. A clock at home shows time with its hour and minute hands. We can write time like 1:00:00 AM or 1:00:00 PM, where "hh" stands for hours, "mm" for minutes, and "ss" for seconds.

For instance, Tina wakes up at 7:00:00 AM, finishes breakfast by 7:45:04 AM, and goes to school at 8:00:15 AM. In this example, the bold parts show the time.

When things happen one after another, it's called a sequence of events. A day has 24 hours, an hour has 60 minutes, and a minute has 60 seconds.

A clock has numbers from 1 to 12, and when the minute hand moves from one number to the next, like from '1' to '2', it means 5 minutes have passed. So, each time the minute hand moves to the next number, we add "5" to find out the time.
