Chitrakote Falls

  • The Amrit Dhara Waterfall, located in Koriya, is a natural waterfall that originates from the Hasdeo River. The spot where the water cascades down creates a misty, cloud-like atmosphere. 
  • This waterfall is easily accessible from Koriya and other parts of Chhattisgarh. Other notable waterfalls in the region include Gavar Ghat Waterfall, Ramdaha Waterfall in Koriya district, Tiger Point Waterfall at Mainpat in Surguja district, and the Chitrakote and Tirathgarh Waterfalls in Bastar district.

Temples

  • Chhattisgarh is home to several ancient temples, including the Shri Ram Janki Temple at Setganga in Mungeli District, the Bhoramdeo Temple near Kawardha in Kabirdham district, the Rajivlochan Temple at Rajim, and Champaran in Raipur district.   • Gadiya Mountain in Kanker District, Kotumsar Cave in Bastar District, Kailashgufa in Jashpur District, Ramgarh and Sita Bengra in Surguja District, and Singhanpur Cave in Raigarh District are renowned for their prehistoric paintings.
