• Chhattisgarh is home to several beautiful waterfalls, including Akuri Nala and Amrit Dhara Falls. Chirimiri is often referred to as the "Jannat of Chhattisgarh." 
• The Amrit Dhara Waterfall, located in Koriya, is a natural waterfall that originates from the Hasdeo River. The spot where the water cascades down creates a misty, cloud-like atmosphere. 
• This waterfall is easily accessible from Koriya and other parts of Chhattisgarh. Other notable waterfalls in the region include Gavar Ghat Waterfall, Ramdaha Waterfall in Koriya district, Tiger Point Waterfall at Mainpat in Surguja district, and the Chitrakote and Tirathgarh Waterfalls in Bastar district.

Temples

• Chhattisgarh is home to several ancient temples, including the Shri Ram Janki Temple at Setganga in Mungeli District, the Bhoramdeo Temple near Kawardha in Kabirdham district, the Rajivlochan Temple at Rajim, and Champaran in Raipur district. Other significant temples include the Chandrahasini Devi Temple at Chandrapur, the Vishnu Temple at Janjgir, Damudhara (Rishab Tirth) and Sivarinarayana Laxminarayana Temple in Janjgir-Champa district, and the Bambleshwari Temple at Dongargarh in Rajnandgaon district.
• Sirpur, which is proposed as a world heritage site, and Malhar hold historical significance, having been visited by the Chinese historian Xuanzang. The Mama-Bachha Temple at Barsoor is another important religious site. Giraudhpuri is considered sacred by the Satnamis, who follow the Satnam Panth.

National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries

• Chhattisgarh offers great opportunities for eco-tourism, with several national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. Indravati National Park and Kanger Ghati National Park in Bastar district, Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary in Bilaspur district, Gamarda Reserve Forest at Sarangarh in Raigarh district, Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary in Mahasamund district, Udanti Wildlife Sanctuary in Raipur district, and Sitanadi Wildlife Sanctuary in Dhamtari district are notable destinations for nature enthusiasts.
• Guru Ghasidas National Park is another significant location. The natural beauty of Koriya is renowned across India, with its dense forests, mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. The area is also rich in mineral deposits, particularly coal. The forests here support a diverse wildlife population, and Koriya is historically significant as the last known sighting of the Asiatic cheetah in the Indian wilderness occurred in this district. The pleasant climate, with mild summers and cool winters, makes Koriya an attractive destination year-round.
