Plants of same kind all grown and cultivated at one place on a  scale is called crop.

For example

Crop of wheat means that all the plants grow in a field are date  of wheat .


The crops are different types:

Cereals, vegetables,and fruit.

These are been  classified on the basis of the season in which
 They grow.
The depend  upon climatic conditions like temperature humidity and rainfall vary from one region to another.


1) kharif crop

The crops which are sown in the rainy season are called kharif
crops

The rainy season in india is generally from June to September.

Examples:soya beam,paddy, ground nut  etc...


Rabi crops


The crops grown in the winter season is called rabhi crop.

The time period was from January to September.

Examples: gram , wheat, linseed,pea,gram etc....
