• Although the interest of people in art and craft is diminishing, I have managed to retain it even in this era. Not just that, I have also tried my luck in some art forms. Here, I would like to talk about my skills of calligraphy – which is the art of stylish and decorative writing that I had learnt in my school.
• I vividly remember when I was in 6th grade, there was a summer camp organized by my school during the summer vacations. As a child, my handwriting was pathetic and poor. So, my parents compelled me to take part in the writing classes. For a few days, it was extremely difficult for me to be a regular in these classes as all I wanted was to spend some time with myself during the holidays, doing things that I loved. However, gradually, I started developing an interest in cursive writing.
• In addition to that, my trainer was courteous and friendly enough to teach me with utmost patience. Furthermore, the trainer had also given me a few notebooks that had dotted alphabets. By practising these notebooks, it became extremely easier for me to master this art form. In about two weeks, I began writing freely, and in no time, my handwriting became impressive. At last, by writing aesthetically, I made my parents really happy.
• At every step, the trainer continued to boost my morale and helped me understand the vitality of beautiful handwriting. At last, not just writing beautifully, it also helped me with my academics. I used this skill to make greeting cards and write giftcards for near and dear ones.
