There is a purpose behind it. We obey the rules of the road (e) so that the roads are made safe for us. The roads in our towns and cities are getting more and more busy these days. They are filled with all kinds of vehicles during the greater part of the day. (g) Unless people disobey traffic rules, accidents will happen sooner than later. Every user of the road ought to know the rules if there are rules both for pedestrians and vehicles.
