so many species live or not each one
unique and remarkable but man can
survive on its own plants and animals
share beautiful relationship between
themselves and the a biotic world in our
previous sessions we've seen plants and
their tissues which make up their organs
that is the leaf stem and Rhodes now
what do we know about these plants they
generally grow from a seed they do not
move and hence require supportive
tissues they make their own food using
abiotic factors and to provide these
abiotic factors to the entire plant we
have separate tissues right along with
these plants we humans and other animals
have also shared planet Earth as a home
for many centuries so let me ask you do
you think our tissues will be the same
as that of plants no plants are slightly
different from us and other animals but
the most important difference is that we
humans and other animals using our brain
can make decisions and move in response
to them whereas plants are stationary
for example to capture its prey a
cheetah will run great speeds birds fly
long distances to avoid cold weathers we
humans walk play games for our
activities all this movement in search
of food shelter and mates does requires
more energy and much more complex organs
and organ systems then a stationary tree
would necessarily require so without any
further ado let's look into this amazing
buildup of our body based on the
functions we carry out every day and to
make this point clear let's construct a
human being from the very base using a
building for comparison so let's begin
by recalling if you've ever noticed such
iron rods poking out of pillars of a
building under construction
well these are the first and most
important parts of the foundation which
extend outwards and travel the entire
length of the building iron is a strong
metal which gives the building its
particular shape and provides the
necessary basic support for addition of
further floors and levels where we
humans also spend most of the productive
time of our lives in an upright position
which means we also need a frame that
will give both shape and support to our
body so what do y'all think it should be
yes it's a bones generally though we
know tissues to be soft right but if a
bones are to provide a solid frame and
support the rest of the body shouldn't
they be strong
therefore they are made up of a strong
mineral calcium these bones when
arranged in a proper frame from the
shape of the entire skeleton did you
know at Birth an infant skeleton
contains approximately 350 bones some of
them fused together and hence result in
a total of 206 bones in an adult these
functions are due to the cells combined
with other materials such as calcium in
the case of bones which come together to
form the bone tissue and since this
tissue serves as a connection throughout
the body it is called the connective
tissue
besides our bones our blood is also a
type of connective tissue so here's a
question for you can you guess why in
the case of blood so now we are done
with the first and foremost requirement
a body framework now let's move on by
constructing the walls and upper floors

structure basically acting as a
packaging material in this construction
this same is true for us humans

tissues if exposed to the immediate
environment could invite trouble in the
form of injuries infractions and
diseases

up the epithelial tissues where the name
comes from the thin layer like structure
or shape of this tissue if hurt and not
cared for or treated in a timely way as
skin itself may get damaged thus
increasing our risk of falling ill this
is specially true for skin cancer caused
due to overexposure to the damaging UV
rays which is on the rise keeping this
in mind here is another question why

types of epithelial tissues satisfy the
need for a protective covering around
our body to protect us from all sorts of
environmental factors and injuries now

fibers are connected at one end to their
main control center

therefore to reach the brain all these

an amazing organ which decides our every
thought action memory feeling and
experience of this world and the best
part is the brain and spinal cord are
also made up of millions of such nerve
cells which are responsible for storing
memories information and habits learn

fibers spinal cord and brain are all
made up of nerve cells the tissues that
form these organs is called the nervous
tissue when nervous comes from the fact
that these cells are highly sensitive or

allow us to move our muscles when we
want to in response to a particular
situation of condition therefore
enabling Swift body movements thus
finally our body is now complete to
summarize all this all these different
types of tissues come together finally
to make up our entire body be it as
humans or the animals with slight
variation this makes sure that we and
other animals can carry out all the
basic activities necessary for our
survival most importantly facilitating
movement and thinking power because
unlike plants we cannot stand motionless
and expect to make our own food or
produce it either
