Insurance Scheme (Savalambam) for Disabled People in Kerala

Startup Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP)

State Award to Best Employees, Employers and Institutions for Differently Abled

  • There is one award each for the best placement employers in government, private, and public sectors.
  • One award is given to welfare institutions for the handicapped in categories including blind, deaf, locomotor, and mentally retarded.

  • Welfare institutions for the blind, deaf, locomotor disability, and mental retardation are eligible to apply.
• Application Requirements:
  • Applications from handicapped employees must be recommended by the head of the office.
  • Applications must include a medical certificate and a photo to verify the disability.
  • Employees and institutions that have previously received the award are not encouraged to reapply.
