specialized organs which are used for
excretion like how we have specialized
respiratory organs we have specialized
circulatory organs similarly there are
there will be some specialized excrete
the organs and all the waste products
from different parts of the body will be
transported to that particular organ so
that from there it can be any removed
from our body so that's how the process
of excretion will work so what is
excretion it is the process of removal
of harmful metabolic wastes from an

will get removed from the body through

nitrogenous waste what is ammonia

organisms like the fishes the amphibians
which live in water so it is the most
toxic form of nitrogenous waste it is
extremely harmful so ammonia should
never be accumulated inside the body of

organisms which excrete wastes in the
form of ammonia which or which excrete
ammonia as wastes they are called a
monotonic organisms now ammonia is
easily soluble in water but it means
large amount of water to be eliminated
from the body so that is why it is

so here excretion of ammonia takes place
in these organisms through their body
surface or through their gills surfaces
so that is how ammonia is being excreted
from these aquatic animals the next type
of nitrogenous waste is urea so this is
how the chemical structure of urea looks
like so urea is a nitrogenous waste in
many terrestrial amphibians as well as
mammals some marine fishes so in case of
human beings also urea is one of the
nitrogen
based so it is less toxic when compared
to ammonia so therefore because urea is
the nitrogenous waste in most
terrestrial animals therefore the
terrestrial animals are also called as
