The State and Forest Services Prelims 2024 was conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission on 23rd June and the result is proposed to be released by the last week of July 2024 in the form of a merit list which will contain the roll numbers of the qualified candidates.

• Go to the MPPSC official website at https://mppsc.nic.in/.
• Navigate to the “Result” section.
• Look for “List of Candidates Eligible for Mains: State & Forest Services 2024” and click on it.
• Open the PDF file containing the merit list.
• Use the search function to find your Roll Number.
• Check your qualifying status against your Roll Number in the merit list.

MPPSC Merit List 2024

• The merit list for the MPPSC Prelims Result 2024 for State and Forest Services will display the roll numbers of candidates who have successfully qualified for the Mains examination.

• This merit list is prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the preliminary exam, which was held on June 23, 2024.

• Pay Application Fee.

Application Fee

• Those who belong to the General or open category will make a payment of Rs 500 as an application fee. 
• Those who belong to SC/ST/OBC category will make a payment of Rs 250/.

MPPSC 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• To apply for MPSSC 2023 candidate must have attained a degree in any discipline from some recognized university by the Govt. of India. 
• The minimum age of the candidate should be between 18-21 years and the maximum age should be 25-40 years as of 1st Jan 2023.

Age criteria also vary from one post to the other such as:

• Assistant Superintendent Jail age should be between 18 to 30 years.
• Transportation sub-inspector age should be between 21 to 35 years.
• Superintendent of police age should be between 20 to 45 years. 
• Other post’s ages should be between 21 to 40 years.

MPPSC 2024 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates to numerous designations under the public sector will be based on: 

• Preliminary Examination (Objective type questions with four options) 
• Mains Examination (Subjective/written questions) 
• Interview (Personality test)

MPPSC 2024 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

For Prelims

• The exam will be Objective Type. 
• 2 Hrs Duration will be given for each Paper.

For Mains + Interview

Final Merit List

It is calculated by adding all marks obtained in the Main and Interview Examination by the Candidates. i.e 

• Mains Marks: 1500 
• Interview Marks: 175 Marks 
• Final Merit List: 1675 Marks

MPPSC 2024 Syllabus 

• Preliminary Syllabus (Paper -1) will consist of General Science and Environment, History of India and Independent India, Indian Polity and economics, Sports, Geography, Current Events of National & International Importance, History, and culture of M.P, polity, and economy of India of M.P, Information and Communication Technologies.
• Preliminary Syllabus (Paper -2) will consist of Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, Logical reasoning, Decision making and problem-solving, General mental ability, Basic number relation, Hindi language comprehension skills.
• Mains Syllabus for Paper 1 (General Studies) will consist of History and culture, Indian History, Geography, Water Management, Disaster, and its Management.
• Mains Syllabus for Paper 2 (General Studies) will consist of topics such as The Constitution, the political and administrative structure of governance, the Security issue, Social & some important legislation, Social sector – Health, Education system, Education, Empowerment, Human resource development, Welfare programs, Public services, Public expenditure, International organizations.
• Mains Syllabus for Paper 3 (General Studies) will consist of Science and Technology, Technology, Emerging Technology, Reasoning and data interpretation, Energy, Environment and sustainable development, Indian economy.
• Mains Syllabus for Paper 4 (General Studies) will consist of Human needs and motivation, Aptitude, Corruption, Philosophers, Attitude, Case studies.
