MUSCULAR TISSUE

? One word which we should learn to associate with the word
muscle is ‘movement’. For any movement of our body our
muscles have a very important role to play.

? The cells in muscular tissue have a special feature of
contraction and extension because of special proteins present
in them.

? The muscles which are attached to our bones in our skeleton
are called as skeletal muscles of our body.

? The movement and functions of those muscles which are
under our control is called as voluntary muscles.

? Smooth muscles get their name due to their texture which is
smooth.

? The movement and functions of those muscles which are not
under our control is called as involuntary muscles.

? The organ which is responsible for continuously pumping
blood throughout your body is Heart.
