The first step is to open the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/. You have to fill out the application on this website only. No other website is allowed to publish the application form. After opening the website, click on the 'NEET(UG) 2023 Registration' button under Student Activity.
On the following page, hit the 'New Registration' button which will take them to the instructions page. Carefully read the guidelines, and once done, confirm the declaration that the instructions have been read.
Details to be entered in during Registration
The second stage of NEET registration necessitates picking a password, re-creating it, selecting a security query and providing the answer. It is advised to keep the security query and its response securely as it will be used to retrieve the password if forgotten. To finish the NEET registration, the details should be checked and submitted.
Once you submit the details the below screen will appear. In this check all the details and in case you want to edit any information click on the EDIT Registration Form button. If all information is right then click on the Submit and Send OTP button.
Applicants are advised to confirm every detail accurately as they will not be able to make any modifications after submitting it. It is necessary to click on each element to authenticate the information.
After registering for the NEET exam, a provisional application number will be generated which should be kept safe as it will be the login ID for any future logins.
Once the enrollment process is finished, applicants should press on 'Complete Application Form' as shown in the figure below. Candidates must click on 'upload documents' after completing the application form of NEET 2023 to upload scanned versions of their photograph and signature as per the specifications. The documents required for upload are outlined below.
Lastly, you need to upload your present and permanent address proof. You can use Aadhaar Cards, Domicile Certificates, Passports, Voter ID Cards, or other valid documents. If your current and permanent addresses are the same, you can use the same document. Combine the two documents into one PDF file if necessary. After that, Click on the "Upload Present and Permanent Address Proof" button, Browse your computer to find the PDF file of your address proof, Select the file, and click "Open" to upload the address proof and Ensure the file size is between 50 kb and 300 kb.
After uploading the documents in accordance with the specifications, the option to pay the NEET 2023 application fee will appear on the screen. Click 'pay examination fee'. The fee must be paid online, and varies depending on the applicant's category (general, OBC/ST/SC, EWS). To pay, select the mode of payment and payment provider.
Online payment mode: Aspirants registering for NEET 2023 can make their payment through Debit/Credit/Net banking or by using Unified Payment Interface (UPI) with the help of State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider. It is essential for them to make sure that the Credit/Debit card used is valid and for those opting for net banking, they should verify the account balance beforehand and keep all the credentials at the ready before logging in to complete the form submission.
Note: Keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment safe till admission is complete.
