Who are Animals?
Animals are living things like your pets, birds, and bugs.
They can move around, eat food, and some even make
sounds. Think about your dog or a cat – they are
animals!

Different kind of Animals
1.Domestic Animals:
These are animals
that live with people.
They are often kept
as pets or for some
work. Examples
include dogs, cats,
and parrots. We
build strong bonds
with domestic
animals.
2.Wild Animals:
These animals live in
nature, like in jungles
or parks, and are not
usually kept as pets.
Examples are lions
and tigers. Wild
animals are free and
live in their natural
habitats.
3. Farm Animals:
Farm animals are
animals that live on
farms and are often
raised by people for
different purposes.
For example: horse,
ducks, hens, fishes
etc.

Herbivores: Animals eating only plants (e.g., Goat, cow).
Omnivores: Animals eating both plant and animal products (e.g.,
Bear, dog).
