Search for Truth: Socrates believed that questioning was the
only path to truth. He exposed the ignorance of those who
claimed wisdom, including himself, and emphasized the
importance of rational thinking.
Conflict and Trial: Socrates' challenging of societal norms
and teachings led to enemies who accused him of
disrespecting the gods and corrupting the youth.
Despite facing trial and condemnation to death by
poison, Socrates remained steadfast in his
beliefs.
