The skeleton provides shape, strength, and protection
to the body. It facilitates movement and houses bone
marrow, which produces red blood cells. Bones require
nutrients like calcium and phosphorus for
development, and the number of bones decreases
from infancy to adulthood due to fusion.
There are 300 - 350 bones in an infant and 206 bones
in an adult human being.

Presentations are tools that
can be used as lectures,
reports, and more. Most of
the time, they’re presented
before an audience.
The skull protects the brain and is made up of
eight flat bones, except for the lower jaw. The
skull bones are fixed, except the lower jaw,
which allows eating and talking. An adult human
skull contains 28 bones, with the face made up of
14 bones protecting sense organs like eyes,
nose, and tongue. The nose is cartilage-based,
not bone.

Ribs are curved bones forming a
ribcage around the chest,
protecting internal organs. 10 pairs
of ribs attach to the sternum, while
the last 2 pairs are floating. Rib
movement aids respiration.

The human body has two pairs of limbs:
forelimbs (arms) and hind limbs (legs).
The arms are attached to the backbone
via the shoulder girdles, comprising collar
bones (clavicles) and shoulder blades
(scapulae). The hand and wrist consist of
27 bones, including the humerus in the
upper arm and the radius and ulna in the
lower arm.
