IBPS PO Application Form 2023: The link to fill IBPS PO application form 2023 was deactivated on August 28. Earlier, the last date to fill the application form was August 21, 2023. However, the form filling deadline was extended by the examination authority. IBPS PO application form 2023 was released on August 1, 2023. A total of 3049 vacancies are to be filled through IBPS PO recruitment process. Applicants should hurry up and apply for IBPS PO 2023 exam as the application deadline will not be extended further. Candidates must check IBPS PO eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. IBPS PO handwritten declaration should be written by candidates in English only.
The window to edit the IBPS PO application form was available within the application deadline. Candidates can make changes in the details entered in the application form before final submission. No changes in the application form will be entertained after final submission.
To be eligible for the exam, candidates need to fulfil the following IBPS PO eligibility criteria:
IBPS PO prelims exam comprises three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The duration of the test is 60 minutes and candidates get 20 minutes to attempt each section. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The mains exam comprises both objective and descriptive-type tests. The objective section carries questions from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. The descriptive section carries questions from English Language (Letter Writing and Essay). The total marks allotted to the test are 225. The interview carries 100 marks.

IBPS PO admit card is released for candidates who successfully fills the application form. Candidates whose application forms are rejected due to some reason are not issued the admit card. To download IBPS PO admit card, candidates need to enter the required login credentials. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.
IBPS PO exam pattern is divided into prelims exam, mains exam and interview. The prelims exam pattern consists of three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The prelims exam carries 100 marks. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The mains exam consists of both objective and descriptive type tests. The objective test is divided into four sections-Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. IBPS PO selection process comprises prelims, mains and interview. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature and the marks obtained in this stage are not counted for the final merit list. The final selection of candidates is done based on the mains exam and interview.
The basic IBPS PO salary is INR 36,000. Besides, candidates get other allowances such as Dearness Allowance(DA), House Rent Allowance(HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and Special Allowances are also there. The pay scale of IBPS PO is INR 23,700-(980 x 7) -30,560-(1145 x 2)-32850-(1310 x 7)-42,020. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the prelims exam, mains exam and interview. Selected candidates are appointed to the post of Probationary Officer in 11 participating banks.
