Once upon a time in a Cornish fishing village, the Pengelly family's life changed when a playful and loving dog named Lob entered their lives. Sandy, the young girl in the family, met Lob on the beach during a summer day. Lob, an Alsatian or German shepherd, immediately became a part of the family, and a strong bond formed between Sandy and Lob.
However, Lob's owner, Mr. Dodsworth, took him away, and the Pengelly children thought they had seen the last of Lob. To their surprise, Lob returned, making mysterious appearances, even after being taken back to his owner in Liverpool. Eventually, Mr. Dodsworth gave Lob to the Pengelly family as a gift.
Over the years, Lob became an inseparable part of the family, especially with Sandy. Their strong bond endured challenges, including Lob walking all the way from Liverpool to Cornwall. Unfortunately, Lob met with a tragic accident involving a truck that also affected Sandy.
In a heartwarming turn of events, Lob, though believed to be dead, mysteriously appeared at Sandy's bedside in the hospital. This unexpected visit brought comfort to Sandy, showing the depth of their connection. Despite the sorrow of Lob's supposed demise, the Pengellys cherished the memory of their loyal friend.
