The transcript describes the events of the 13th year of the Pandavas' exile, known as the Virata Parva. The Pandavas, having completed 12 years in exile, now have to spend the 13th year incognito and undiscovered by Duryodhana's spies.
The Pandavas discuss their disguises for the 13th year. Arjuna decides to become a eunuch and serve as a dance teacher. Yudhishthira takes the role of a courtier, Bhima becomes a cook, Nakula looks after the horses, Sahadeva tends to the cows, and Draupadi serves as a maid to Queen Sudeshna.
Draupadi faces trouble when Kichaka, the commander-in-chief of the kingdom, tries to force her into becoming his queen. Draupadi seeks Bhima's help, and together they plan to kill Kichaka. Bhima disguises himself as a woman and fights and kills Kichaka in a dancing hall.
Kichaka's death creates chaos in the kingdom, and Draupadi reveals her true identity to the queen. The queen allows her to stay for a month but asks her to leave afterward.
With only a month left in their exile, the Pandavas are ready to return. Meanwhile, Duryodhana suspects that they might be hiding in the kingdom of Virata and plans to wage war against Virata to expose the Pandavas.
Prince Uttara, son of King Virata, fears facing the Kauravas. Arjuna, disguised as a eunuch, reveals his true identity to Uttara and offers to help him in the battle.
Arjuna and Uttara go to the battlefield, and Arjuna unveils his divine weapons. Uttara realizes the true identities of the Pandavas and their companions and feels grateful for their presence.
Duryodhana's plan to expose the Pandavas fails as their period of exile has already ended. They can now claim their kingdom anytime they wish.
The Pandavas' determination, unity, and strategic planning enabled them to overcome challenges during their exile. The story teaches us the importance of adaptability, resilience, and the power of unity in difficult times.
