Ans. UGC NET, or the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, is a national-level exam conducted in India to determine the eligibility of candidates for the role of Assistant Professor and for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.
2. How many papers are there in the UGC NET exam?
Ans. The UGC NET exam consists of two papers - Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is common for all candidates and tests teaching and research aptitude, while Paper II is subject-specific.
3. What is the eligibility criteria for UGC NET?
