Important News – India

1. The Central government and Uttarakhand government have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for setting up of ₹173 crore science city in which city __________ Dehradun.
Note:

➢ The MoU was signed between Uttarakhand State Council for Science & Technology (UCOST) and National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an autonomous organisation under the Indian Ministry of Culture.
➢ The project will take four years to complete. The Centre will provide ₹88 crore while the state government will contribute ₹85 crore for the ambitious project.

2. The union finance ministry announced to infuse what amount state-owned general insurance companies during the current quarter in a bid to improve their financial health ________ Rs 3000 crores.

➢ Last year, the Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi cleared proposal to provide capital support to National Insurance, Oriental Insurance and United India Insurance.

3. The HCL Technologies (HCL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with which IIT to collaborate in the field of cybersecurity _________ Indian Institute of Technology – Kanpur.
