Subject: Request for Installation of Street Lights

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Sakshi Bedi, a resident of Lajpat Street, writing to bring to your attention the inadequate street lighting in several areas of our neighbourhood.

Our locality faces a severe shortage of proper street lights. The existing lights are either dysfunctional or insufficient. Residents, especially those working late shifts or returning home after dark, feel vulnerable due to poorly lit streets. Women and children feel unsafe, and senior citizens struggle to walk safely. The darkness encourages anti-social elements, increasing crime rates significantly.

I request you to conduct a survey identifying poorly lit areas and arrange for installation of new street lights. Dysfunctional lights need immediate repair with regular maintenance to ensure safety.

Your prompt action would greatly enhance our neighbourhood's security.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,
Sakshi Bedi

Subject: Creating Awareness about Preservation of Historical Monuments

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Dharti Pradhan, Head Girl of Pinnacle School, writing to express deep concern about the growing vandalism of historical monuments in our culturally rich city.

I have observed that visitors etch graffiti on these precious monuments and litter the surrounding areas. This irresponsible behaviour shows complete disrespect for our heritage and creates disgust among other tourists. It reflects poorly on our society and our lack of pride in our own history.

I suggest that strict measures be taken immediately. Authorities should impose heavy fines on violators and conduct awareness campaigns educating visitors about heritage preservation. Clear signboards with instructions should be installed, and single-use plastics banned near monuments. Regular monitoring would also help.

Through your esteemed newspaper, I hope this message encourages citizens to treat our historical treasures with respect.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,
Dharti Pradhan
Head Girl

Ans:
Natural Food vs Processed Food
The type of food we consume significantly impacts our health and well-being. Natural food and processed food differ vastly in their nutritional composition and health effects. Natural food is high in fibre and contains healthy nutrients and fats with low sodium content. It helps regulate blood sugar and blood pressure while providing essential nutrients to the body.

In contrast, processed food is loaded with high sugar, unhealthy nutrients, and unhealthy fats with high sodium levels. While natural food may sometimes taste bland, it nourishes our body effectively and prevents lifestyle diseases. On the other hand, processed food is tasty, ready to eat, and often addictive, making it convenient but harmful.

The appeal and convenience of processed food come at the cost of our health. Therefore, choosing natural food over processed alternatives is essential for maintaining long-term health and overall well-being.

Ans:
The Impact of Social Media on Teenagers
Social media has become an integral part of teenage life, influencing their development in both positive and negative ways. On the positive side, it connects peers across distances, enabling them to maintain friendships easily. It provides platforms for creative expression where teenagers can showcase their talents and access vast amounts of information for learning.

Additionally, it helps in community building with shared interests. However, the negative impacts are equally significant and concerning. Social media adversely affects self-esteem as teenagers constantly compare themselves with others' curated online personas. Cyber bullying has emerged as a serious issue, causing emotional trauma to many young users. Privacy intrusion is another major concern, with personal information being vulnerable to misuse.

Moreover, social media causes distraction and addiction, affecting academic performance and real-life social interactions. Therefore, while social media offers valuable opportunities, teenagers must use it mindfully to maintain a healthy balance.
