  • After some days Phudgudi laid the egg.
  • Bhanate asked her to give her eggs to eat.
  • Phudgudi was scared.
  • She said to go and wash your beak first in the river.
  • Bhanate went to the river and asked the river to give it some water to wash its beak.
  • Bhanate said to the river that I will wash my beak with cold water and I want to eat the egg.
  • River replied how will you fill the water if you do not have any pot.
  • So, he went to a potter and asked him to make a pot to store water.
  • Potter replied how I can make a pot without clay and get some clay from the clay pit.
  • Bhanate went to the clay pit and asked for some clay to make the pot.
  • Clay-pit replied how I can dig soil without a trowel.
  • Bhanate went to the blacksmith and asked for a trowel.
  • The blacksmith gave him a trowel on one condition that he would return it.
  • Bhanate agreed.
  • He went to the clay pit and dug some clay.
  • Finally the potter made a pot for him.
  • Bhanate filled the water in the pot and washed its beak.
  • He then went to eat Phudgudi’s egg.
  • By that time eggs were hatched.
  • A little bird came out and flew away.
  • Far away from Bhanate.
  • Phudgudi protected the egg.
