Life processes:- these are the basic functions performed by living organisms for their survival and body maintenance. It include Nutrition, Respiration, Transportation, Excretion.
∆ Nutrition:- There are two types of nutrition:-
1.. Autotrophic and
2.. Heterotrophic
#Photosynthesis:- it is a process by which green plants make their own food with the help of carbon dioxide and water in the presence of chlorophyll and sunlight.
#Raw material for photosynthesis:- carbon dioxide and water.
#Site of photosynthesis:- site of photosynthesis is chloroplast in the leaves. Chloroplast contain a green pigment called chlorophyll.
#Main events of photosynthesis:-
1.. absorption of light energy by chlorophyll,
2.. conversion of light energy into chemical energy and splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen,
3.. reduction of carbon dioxide to form carbohydrates.
#
STOMATA:- stomata are tiny pores present on the surface of leaves exchange of gases and transpiration also takes place through stomata. The opening and closing of stomata is controlled by the guard cells.
#HETROTROPHS:-
heterotrophic nutrition is of three types:-
1.. Holozoic,
2.. Saprophytic and
3.. Parasitic.
#Nutrition in amoeba:- the mode of nutrition in Amoeba is holozoic. The process of obtaining food by Amoeba is called phagocytosis. The various steps involved in the nutrition of amoeba are ingestion, digestion, absorption, assimilation and egestion.
#Human digestive system:- in human digestion begins from the mouth and get completed in small intestin.
#Respiration:- it is a process in living organisms for the production of energy. There are two modes of respiration aerobic and anaerobic.
#HUMAN RESPIRATORY SYSTEM:- written all the passage of air through the respiratory system.
#MACHANISM OF BREATHING:- it involves two processes inhalation and exhalation.
# In human beings oxygen is transported by hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is a respiratory pigment present in RBC is which have very high affinity for oxygen.
# carbon dioxide is more soluble in water than oxygen and hence is mostly transported as dissolved form in our blood.
#Respiration in plants:- gaseous exchange account through stomata in leaves Linda cousin is X general services of road and transpiration.
# The circulatory system in human being consist of circulatory medium, blood vessels and heart.
# humans have Double circulation. In this tablet Travels device through the heart in one complete cycle of the body.
# blood is fluid connective tissue is comprises 4 components plasma, RBC, WBC and platelets.
# lymph is yellowish fluid that is keeps from blood capillaries into intercellular spaces .
# transportation in plant occurs through xylem and phloem.
# xylem carries water and Minerals from root to other parts of plants while phloem carries food from leaves to other parts of plants.
# transpiration is the process by which plant lose water in the form of vapours.
#EXCRETION:- the process of removal of harmful metabolic waste from the body is called excretion.
# excretory system in human beings includes a pair of kidney and urinary bladder, a pair of ureter and urethra.
