Let us visit the shape land. Different shapes will introduce themselves:

Straight and Curved Lines
Look at the straight line AB.
It is a horizontal line.
All these are types of straight line.
All these are curved lines.
- Draw a straight line to join the green dot to the green dot (use the scale).
- Draw a curved line to join the red dot to the red dot.

Join the dots to make some more plane shapes as shown. Write the names of the shapes in the given boxes.
Rolling / Sliding
The shape of the object determines its movement. Some objects move slightly along their base or the side on which they are placed. This movement is called sliding.
Some objects move ahead on all their surfaces. This is called rolling.
Encircle the objects that roll with a red crayon and objects that slide with a green crayon.
