SBI Clerk 2026 Important Dates

Candidates should complete the SBI Clerk application form 2025 well before the last date. Once the State Bank of India announces the schedule, all important dates related to the application process will be updated in the table below.

SBI Clerk 2026 Application Form

The State Bank of India will activate the online application link for the SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2025 exam once the official notification is released, which will also include the registration dates. SBI Clerk Online Application Process

Follow the steps mentioned below to Apply Online for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam.

• Visit the official website, sbi.co.in/web/careers/current-openings
• Select the 'Click Here for New Registration' tab
• Fill in details such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc
• Registration number and password are generated
• Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature
• Enter personal details, work experience, educational qualification, etc.
• Preview the SBI Clerk application form and submit the details
• Candidates need to pay the registration fees
• Take a printout of the application form and e-receipt.

SBI Clerk Application Fee

The category-wise fee structure for the SBI Clerk online application is given below. The application fee for the SBI Exam is Rs. 750/- for the General category and NIL for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category as mentioned in SBI Clerk Notification 2025. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can they be held in reserve for any other examination or selection. The application fee must be paid online itself.

SBI Clerk 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of the SBI Clerk 2025 exam is mainly about two pre-requisites:

• SBI Clerk Educational Qualifications: Any graduate candidate can apply for the exam. Candidates who are in their final year/semester of graduation can apply provisionally. They need to produce proof of having passed the examination on or before the joining date.
• SBI Clerk Age Limit: The candidate's age should not be below 20 years and not above 28 years.
  

SBI Clerk 2026 Selection Process

SBI Clerk 2025 is going to be conducted by the State Bank of India to select eligible candidates for Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales). The notification for the same will be released shortly by SBI. With the release of the SBI Official Notification, the vacancy details, eligibility, and online application dates will also be released.
The recruitment process to select Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) through SBI Clerk 2025 is done in three phases: 

• Online Preliminary Exam, 
• Online Mains Exam and 
• Language Proficiency

A candidate must qualify for both the preliminary exam and mains exam to proceed to the Language Proficiency round. The candidates selected after the Language Proficiency round are given the appointment letter.

SBI Clerk 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

For Prelims

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam is a Screening exam. It is to weed out not serious candidates from the competition. There is sectional timing for each section i.e., English, Reasoning, and Mathematics. Candidates need to clear the sectional cutoff as well as the overall cutoff to qualify for the SBI Clerk Prelims.

For Mains

SBI Clerk Mains Exam is a Scoring as well as Merit-deciding exam. There is sectional timing for each section i.e., General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The final merit list of candidates will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the SBI Clerk Mains exam.

Note:

1. Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both - Online Preliminary and Online Main examinations). There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
2. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.

Those who qualify for the SBI Clerk Mains Exam will be called for the Language Proficiency Test.

For Language Proficiency

Those who qualify for selection and produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In the case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language tests will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates not found proficient in the specified opted local language would be disqualified.

• There will be no Interview. 
• Candidates will have to pass each of the objective tests of the online examinations. 
• Both the Prelims and Mains exams will be conducted online. 
• A candidate has to qualify in the Preliminary Examination to appear in Main Examination. 
• The main exam will be conducted for the final selection. 
• The question paper will be bilingual in nature i.e. available in Hindi as well as English language.

• Reasoning Ability: Coding-Decoding, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle, Statement and Assumptions, Ranking, Blood Relation, Direction Test, Inequalities, Alphanumeric Series, Series, Syllogism, Logical Reasoning.

For Mains

• Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude: Puzzle, Statement and Assumptions, Ranking, Coding-Decoding, Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Direction Test, Inequalities, Series, Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric Series, Machine Input and Output.

SBI Clerk 2026 Admit Card

Candidates who will apply for the SBI Clerk/Junior Associate posts can download their SBI Clerk Prelims Admit Card from the official website or the link given below. To access the admit card, candidates will need their Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password. The admit card is important as it contains details such as the exam date, venue, timing, and serves as proof of candidature.

SBI Clerk 2026 Exam Result

SBI Clerk Result 2025 will be declared once both phases are concluded. SBI will publish results individually for both preliminary and main exams. SBI releases sectional cut-offs for both - SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam and SBI Clerk Mains Exam. Aspirants are required to meet the cut-offs for all the sections to make it to the merit list.
