• Most of us pursue academics and higher education to be eligible for a high paying job. Working for a company in a decent position is the goal for many youngsters. Paid jobs have a certain sense of satisfaction, especially when the person likes the work that they are doing. An instance where a close friend of mine enjoyed working at a particular job was when he joined a startup as a Social Media Manager.
• Both of us started working around the same time. It was during the month of October 2021 when he applied for the position of Social Media Manager at a startup based in our own city, Kolkata. He joined the company during the time when everyone was transitioning from the 'work from home' approach to regular office work.
• Since the company that my friend worked at was a startup, everyone who worked there was comparatively young and in their twenties or early thirties. The way he approached his work and the efficiency with which he met his targets made him a favourite among his superiors and colleagues. It was a delight to see him work at a job where he loved every aspect of what he was doing.
