• Besides our parents, teachers play a vital role in shaping our minds and personality. Even though we might be deficient in some areas, they motivate us to dream big and work harder to overcome difficulties. From the time I was in class nine, I can recall some teachers for their amazing and enlightening tutelage. But among them, I remember one of them the most. Shanket Sir was our art and crafts mentor and he was one of the best teachers I have come across in my life.
• He was a visionary with a great sense of humour and explained complicated art concepts in an intriguing way. Further, he always inspired us to use our imagination and create innovative sketches with authentic themes. His method of engaging us in art and craft gave us in-depth about the subject and stimulated our minds. All students, irrespective of class, looked up to this intelligent person for guidance and motivation. I can still remember that he never scolded us and never misbehaved with us. On the contrary, he gave us good scores with witty feedback.
• To date, I remember him and how we enjoyed his classes. He had the power to draw everyone’s attention to him. I am grateful to him for urging me to participate in various art competitions. His admirable techniques always remained in my mind and helped me win a lot of those competitions. I was impressed by his ability to draw anything by observing that object and he aided me to master that skill. Finally, whatever I learnt from Shanket Sir aided me in enhancing my creative skills and now, I am a successful graphic designer.
